The STRANDHOTEL**** Grömitz/Ostsee, built in 2009 and classified with 4 stars by DEHOGA, enjoys a prime front-row location on the promenade. Marina to the right, Schleswig-Holsteins longest pier to the left and the sandy beach directly in the front.

The Hotel is in a peaceful but central location on the 3,8 km-long promenade. The hotel offers spacious, high-quality rooms, large terraces and balconies with sun loungers*, as well as the restaurant STEG 1 for an unforgettable vacation at the Baltic Sea. 

The wellness area has a finnish sauna, a steam bath, a whirlpool tub and a small fitness area, as well as massages and beauty treatments, so you can really relax.

Enjoy unobstracted, breathtaking views across the beach and the baltic sea from the rooms with sea view, the sun terrace and our excellent restaurant 'STEG 1'. Under the direction of head chef Maximilian Koops and with direct access from the promenade, the restaurant offers the perfect place for a great time with innovative food creations and a variety of drinks ranging from softdrinks, cocktails to a Bitburger on tap.

The hotel has a wonderful location right on the beach and the vacation feeling sets in as soon as you enter. The whole hotel is very well maintained, the rooms are very nicely furnished and equipped. Cleanliness plays a major role throughout the house.
The "team" at the hotel is very friendly, helpful and nice. As regular guests, we always feel very welcome. The hotel's own restaurant "STEG 1" provides culinary delights with excellent cuisine in the evening and the terrace at the hotel invites you to linger. The breakfast buffet offers a wide selection of everything your heart desires.

How to find us

By car - From the A1 direction Fehmarn
Take exit 13 for Neustadt i. Holst./Pelzerhaken/Grömitz and turn right onto the B501 towards Grömitz. Follow the road for approximately 7.5 km, then turn right onto Kreienredder towards the marina. After entering the town, continue down Haffkamp, then take a sharp right onto Uferstraße. After about 50 meters, you will arrive at the STRANDHOTEL**** Grömitz/Ostsee – welcome!
